Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill This instant

I will not go into any detailed operation description. Its great and all they say.

The cost was $1,389 along with free shipping. On the truckers bill of lading the shipping cost $345 so it was a deal. On the Boxflex site it was $300 more plus shipping.

Consumer reports rates this model with their highest rating and recommended over all the others in its price range for good reason. It is built like a brick wall and after using it daily for over two weeks it performs like it should.

The box was about 7 foot long and about 300 pounds. The treadmill needed to go into an upstairs rec room. There were two corners in the stairs so getting it up there wasn't something I was looking forward to since I'm 56 and not as strong as I was back in my twenties. With my wifes help we lifted, pushed and pulled and got it up the stairs around the corners, step by step without damage to ourselves, the stairs and walls and the Bowflex.

I was very impressed on how easily it assembled. Clear, concise assembly instructions and their assembly and operating manuals are easy to understand and of top quality. I think there were a total of 5 steps. Everything fit fine. You cannot mess up.

If you can turn a screw driver and tell the difference between a hex head bolt and a Phillips head bolt you can do it. Besides there are pictures if your not sure. They include the wrenches and a screw driver in the box. All the pieces that are on the right side are marked so locating where they go is a snap.

Recommendations:
Use your own screw drive and Allen (metric) wrenches. The included tools work fine but using your own makes assembly even easier and quicker.

All the pieces on the right are marked. Put the words "right" next or across from each other and the thing almost assembles itself.

Marry a strong stout woman or man if you plan on moving it very far and there are no guys or gals around. Unless you are Charles or Charlene Atlas, this thing is heavy and cumbersome to move around in the box. It is still heavy and difficult to move out unassembled of the box, that is until your on a flat surface and its assembled where you can use the wheels on the unit.

Going up stairs is tough and you cannot do it assembled.

Would I buy again? YES it is a quality piece of gym equipment designed to last.
