Buying Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill
First, guess I lucked out on shipping...my treadmill arrived within two weeks. The delivery guy was great, though, thankfully I didn't need the machine to go farther than my small living room.
As for set up, I was grateful to have the assistance of a friend. It's easy to put together, but trying to do it alone (gosh--I'm impressed by those who did) would be insane (I love the fact that it even talks about a second person in the assembly instructions).
Treadmill starting: okay, I'd definitely have to point out that to calibrate the treadmill to start pushing on the enter button (keep holding it down) and then start pushing the power button for the time they specify in the instructions (I personally didn't think this was all too clear).
Fan: I'm 5'6" and the fan is almost perfect, I do have to run close to the front, but it does blow wind into my face and keeps me a bit cooler than with no fan at all.
Noise: Absolutely NO complaints...it's quite quiet and I'm loving it. I don't have to turn the TV up so loud and I agree that I'm probably louder than the machine after running for a bit, but even walking on it...still very smooth and quiet.
Overall: I'm really enjoying the treadmill. I think the only thing that I'm not thrilled about (and maybe I just haven't figured it out) is that one can't increase the time after it's been set. Sometimes I feel like I can do more, but haven't been able to push the right buttons to get the time to extend (I don't want to have to stop and start up again...I just want to keep on going).
Loving it!!! Amazon had a fantastic deal, and if you get their Credit Card, you'll get more back. Plus free shipping, which is normally $179, gosh it's a real hard deal to beat; I bought it on Amazon when it was actually priced lower than from factory direct. So far--totally satisfied with my purchase.Get more detail about Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill.
